We went on a little adventure in the Texas panhandle. It is often very windy here. This phone photo is proof. I like how the wind blows the dogs fur and the funny face Maddy made while looking into the wind.

Izzy Went Hiking in Palo Duro Canyon
We live near the second largest canyon in the U.S. Palo Duro Canyon is a great place for a day trip or overnight camping. It was a beautiful winter day so we took advantage of the weather and went hiking which is one of Izzy’s favorite things to do.
We arrived at the Canyon at sunrise and headed out on the CCC trail.
There are beautiful views everywhere.
We found a cave and went all the way through it. Here is Izzy at the entrance.
We followed a sandy creek bed and stopped for a couple of photos.
It was a great day. We are looking forward to consistently warm weather and more adventures.

This project of photographing Izzy has become so much fun. It is amazing how long she will sit and pose.
For this photo, I placed the rolling pin into the dough so it wouldn’t roll and I mad her baker’s hat out of tissue paper and card stock. Izzy wore it like a champ.
