Hurricane Harvey has caused so much devastation to our state of Texas.  Please pray for our state and those that have lost so much.  

My sister found a pillow at Dillards that looks just like Izzy.  She bought it for me and we love it.

It stormed most of the night and day. Poor Maddy is not a fan of these East TX storms. She hid or I held her most of the day. I tried to hold her why I painted some rocks. I read how people paint and hide rocks so I thought I would give it a try. I painted an Izzy rock so I thought I would share. I hid all but 2 so far and plan to paint more. Have any of you done this?

Izzy is settling in here in East Texas. She was interviewed for our community magazine and her article will be published soon. I will be sure to share it. We go visit the fish and feed them on our little lake and we seem to need to drink a lot of water here.  She is sitting at the table and chairs on our dock in this photo.

Everyone drives their golf cart to get around in our new community so we had to get one too.  Izzy approves.

Trying to unpack my clothes, but the dogs think I have made them a bed.

We made it to our new home and had to go for a walk even though we drive all night without sleeping.

We found a house in a community with a dog park.  Last stop before we head back home to pack and move.
