We put up the tree and are ready for Christmas.

I covered up the dogs in bed and they felt so warm and snuggly that they stayed just like this for at least 15 minutes.

We had to stop and take a photo of this cute turkey made out of a hay where we live.  Holly Lake Ranch does a great job of decorating our community.  We then enjoyed walking on a trail here on the Ranch.

 

We drove down the road to see the beautiful steam and sunshine at Holly Lake this morning.

My dogs love to sit on the back of our sectional and did a number on our last one.  We bought a new one when we moved and I just knew I could teach them not to lay on the back cushions.  Look how well it is working.

So I thought if I put the throw pillows on the top of it then that would keep them off.  Instead it just made it more comfortable.  Izzy enjoyed a nap yesterday morning on the pillow.

How can I be mad at that sweet face?

Who doesn’t love a good roasted marshmallow?  Izzy sure liked them.

Happy first day of Fall even though it doesn’t feel like it today, but it looks like cooler weather is headed our way next week.

Izzy is learning lumberjack skills now that we live in the piney woods.
